POTY 2008: Finalists for Plants and fungi
Here are the finalists from the category plants and fungi:
Plant photography has always been a strength of the Wikimedia Commons photographer community, so it is no surprise that these finalists are all home grown. I would be surprised if there was any more than a handful in this entire category that weren’t created by Wikimedians, actually.
These are Osteospermum_Flower_Power_Spider_Purple_2134px.jpg, Narzisse.jpg, Nelumno_nucifera_open_flower_-_botanic_garden_adelaide2.jpg, Dew_on_grass_Luc_Viatour.jpg and Alberi_AlpediSiusi.JPG (these last two are tied equal 4th).
